wales: a prelude

As you might know or not know I had the funny idea of going to Wales for an internship programme. Because, well, why not? So I just arrived in Llangollen about an hour ago, after the plane landed at the Liverpool airport, which by the way has the coolest name ever: John Lennon Airport. Admit it, that is pretty neat! Although I have to say that the John Wayne Airport in Orange County is really close.

There isn't much to tell yet since I just arrived but as far as I can tell this town is quite... cute, at least what I have seen so far. The house where I'm staying for the next couple of days has the look and feel of a vintage doll's house; only slightly bigger. I kind of like it. It reminds me of a very sweet donut, but not the artificially sweet ten tons of suggar included ones but rather one filled with lots of raspberry jam.

Anyway, tomorrow things are getting serious, I'll have to get up early, fetch some food and all that stuff.

See you soon and behave well!
